Now I have to find a way to optimize the procedure and make it run on startup.Ĭan anyone here test if it works for their G710 / G710+ or any other Logitech keyboard, especially if it's not an RGB one? Having no illumination was such a PITA and it feels strange having the keys illuminated after getting used to no illumination. Have UniLight running (if not running, the LED illumination will turn off once you close G910_sample) (direct download: ) Start G910_SAMPLE.exe from the LED ILLUMINATION SDK Ĥ. As we only have 10 fingers, its actually hard, to press more than 10 keys at once. For complex commands the keyboard has six programmable macro keys on the left side of the keyboard. Includes having LGS (Logitech Gaming Software) running, using LED ILLUMINATION SDK from Logitech and having UnLight by HunterZ.Ģ. To prevent unintentional closing of your game, the Logitech G710 Plus comes with a Game Mode Switch which disables the windows key. Much appreciated.I might have, potentially, found a way to turn on the illumination for the keys on my keyboard (that the controller/key for illumination stopped working) THROUGH SOFTWARE. I was able to use your ideas to help figure this out.
Windows was not letting go of that bad driver for nothing. Windows then set up the keyboard as a new device and I loaded the Logitech software again to force the driver to be current.Īll is now well, but what an ordeal. The lights came on and I was able to type in my password. Before starting the PC again, I plugged in the G710 and booted up. I then unplugged my temporary keyboard and rebooted. Then I went to Device Manager and removed the G710 (which was surprisingly still there) and ticked the box to uninstall the driver as well, in case I missed any in the registry. So what I finally did was to edit the registry and remove every single driver listed under "Logitech G710" and rebooted without the G710 keyboard plugged in.
I also tried to force install the driver but that didn't work either. I tried the restore point strategy, but for some reason each restore point would fail and Windows would revert to the current point. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Any suggestions gratefully received.
I can't use the program that messed up the drivers in the first place, because it doesn't see the Logitech drivers, just the dev board ones. (also, the lighted keys are a little dim under the glare of my monitor.) I would like to get this fixed because I need a lighted keyboard in my office and I don't want to use the Logitech G15 that I'm currently typing on because it is a collector's item and is in pristine shape. Though if you need more than 18 programs, then maybe look for other solutions. Then I force uninstalled the drivers for all keyboards and loaded Logitech drivers from Windows 10 (20H2). The software will install, but the driver doesn't seem to change, so no lights, no typing. If you still have questions browse the topics on the left. We've put everything you need to get started with your G710+ Mechanical Gaming Keyboard right here. There are no Spare Parts available for this Product.
I went to the Logitech website and downloaded the new driver package to no avail. Getting started - G710+ Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. How to Set Multi-Key Macros on a Logitech g710+ Keyboard Open the Logitech Gaming Software by clicking on the icon in your taskbar or searching for it in the Start menu. Then I plugged it back in and no lights, no typing still. I removed all of the keyboards from Device Manager, unplugged the KB and rebooted.
The problem is that I can't seem to undo what I did. It set the driver to WinUSB, thus borking my keyboard entirely. What I didn't notice is that the program that replaces the drivers had advanced to the next device in the list, which was my keyboard. I have heard about people complaining about the weakness of the keycaps on this keyboard, but logitech does not. I have two keys that are broken, the Esc key and the - key on the number pad. I was adding in drivers for a development board I was working with, and for some reason I didn't think it worked, so I did it again. Hey guys I was wondering where I could find some keycaps that match the ones already on the logitech G710+.
